Stuffed Fish

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole fish (salmon, cod, or haddock), cleaned and gutted
  • 2 cups bread cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions:

Preparing the Stuffing:

  1. In a bowl, mix the bread cubes with salt, pepper, minced onion, parsley, and sage.
  2. Drizzle the melted butter over the bread mixture and toss lightly to combine.
  3. Add the milk and mix thoroughly until the stuffing holds together.

Stuffing the Fish:

  1. Stuff the prepared fish cavity with the bread mixture.
  2. Wrap the stuffed fish tightly in aluminum foil.

Baking the Fish:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the foil-wrapped fish on a baking tray and bake for 45 minutes.

Serving:

  1. Carefully unwrap the fish and serve hot.
